Sorting and recycling technology specialist Tomra Systems is planning to build a processing plant for waste plastics in Germany. The company announced plans to invest €50-60m in a plant that will process 80,000 tonnes of pre-sorted mixed post-consumer plastic material per year, with the resulting fractions to serve as input for mechanical and chemical recycling processes.
