The Belgian metallurgical company Umicore increased revenues from its Recycling Business Group in the 2025 financial year and maintained its earnings indicators at a stable level. Revenue in the business area rose by 5 per cent year on year to €947m. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) amounted to €371m, in line with the previous year.
Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (Ebit) were also largely unchanged at €296m. The adjusted figures exclude the one-time impact of a change in Umicore's gold refining business model in the autumn of last year, under which the group first sold then leased-in inventories....
