French environmental services group Veolia has reported a good start to the current financial year for its three business segments waste, water and energy. Despite an environment marked by "macroeconomic uncertainty and persistent external challenges", the company had achieved "solid results", group CEO Estelle Brachlianoff said at the presentation of the company’s first-quarter results last week.
