German copper scrap prices ease slightly after exchange prices slip

After the sharp gains of recent weeks, the LME copper price fell at the start of the week commencing 28 April and dropped below the $13,000 per tonne mark for the first time since mid-April. This led to a slight price correction in the German non-ferrous scrap market.
