The surge in the copper price has ended, at least for the time being. After reaching an all-time high on 20 May, the LME copper price has fallen significantly. Late last week, it slipped back below the $10,000 mark. This is also likely to cause prices to soften the scrap metal market early in the new month, but non-ferrous scrap metal prices in Germany were still trending sideways last week....
