Market participants active in Poland had expected for quite some time that recovered paper prices would fall again at some point after skyrocketing into the summer. Yet, even long-standing market players were actually surprised by the timing, the speed and the extent of the course reversal. Supermarket paper and board fell considerably in the span of just two months.
