After rallying in the second half of September, the LME copper price maintained its high level at the beginning of October, even though it failed to break the $10,000-mark last week. On the German non-ferrous scrap metal market, prices for copper scrap rose significantly again in the working week which began on 30 September.
According to news service MBI, the wholesale buying-in price for copper scrap rose and brass scrap also traded higher in weekly comparison....
