Despite the tightening of recovered paper supply which is typical for this time of year, prices on the British recovered paper market declined in July. The downward trend primarily affected the woodfree grades used to produce tissue.
Another decline in the price of packaging (export) recovery notes (PRNs and PERNs) in the middle of the month caused a price drop for the ordinary recovered paper grades used in packaging paper production, although the market was otherwise fairly stable.
