The Netherlands‘ plans to achieve a fully circular economy by 2050 include measures for the textiles value chain.

The Dutch Ministry of the Environment has published a comprehensive circular textiles policy programme in December. According to the Ministry, the 37-page document entitled "Beleidsprogramma circulair textiel 2025-2030" (Policy Programme for Circular Textiles) was developed in dialogue with Dutch textile businesses with the involvement of civic society. While focussing primarily on measures and strategies for the period up to 2030, the programme also includes long-term targets for 2050....
