England shifts to monostream collection of paper and board

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has announced significant changes to recyclable waste collections in England under the new "Simpler Recycling" regulations. From March 2025, recovered paper and board will have to be collected separately from other recyclable materials. This represents a change of course compared to plans for the system announced a year ago.
