The future EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) has not yet been formally adopted, but the activities to prepare its implementation and specifications are underway. One such step is the European Commission’s recently launched consultation on the planned harmonised labelling system for packaging and waste collection bins.
