Preparations continue in the European Parliament for the first reading of legislation revising the EU Waste Shipment Regulation (WSR). The work is being coordinated by rapporteur Pernille Weiss. The Danish MEP is a member of the Parliament's conservative EPP group.
According to her office, the Parliament's Environment Committee will not vote on the legislative project until at least the end of November. The plenary vote has been provisionally scheduled for the middle of December or the middle of January. It was, however, still possible that these dates would change....
