Waste shipments: More details on applications from non-OECD states released

Only those non-OECD states whose applications for inclusion in the "list of countries" are approved by the European Commission will be able to continue receiving green-list waste from the EU after 21 May 2027.

The European Commission recently released a list of non-OECD states which have sought approval to continue receiving exports of non-hazardous waste for recycling from the EU such as recovered paper or processed scrap metal.
