Copper scrap prices head sharply higher again in Germany

The LME copper price maintained the significant gains it made early in April and settled above the $9,200 per tonne mark last week. On the German non-ferrous scrap metal market, copper scrap prices continued to rise sharply as the new working week started on 15 April.

According to news service MBI, the wholesale buying-in price for copper scrap rose and both brass and red brass scrap prices headed higher....
