EUWID surveys the German waste wood market quarterly, collecting price data for untreated, treated and contaminated waste wood in two size fractions, wood chips (0-150 mm) and pre-crushed wood (0-300 mm). Material prices and/or treatment charges are reported for the "northeast", "northwest" and "south" regions based on information collected from waste wood reprocessors on the one hand and their customers in the particle board industry and in the biomass power or energy recovery industries on the other hand. In addition to market conditions and changes in market drivers, the report also contains assessments of the near-term outlook as provided by key market participants.
