Brüning Group wants to expand its activities in Italy and open an office in Rome in January 2024. “We are planning to have four employees in the office and three commercial agents,” said Matthias Warnke, head of waste wood and waste to energy at Brüning.

“With this office, we want to be closer to our suppliers and customers and expand our existing business. Our focus in Italy is on procurement of RDF, SRF and hazardous waste. In a further step, we also want to develop the waste wood, pellets and fresh wood businesses.” To build an experienced team in the Rome office, two Italian colleagues will transfer from the company's Copenhagen office, according to Mr Warnke.

Brüning took part in the Ecomondo environmental tradeshow in early November in Rimini, Italy.
