The scrap recycling and environmental services division of French group Derichebourg significantly increased its annual revenues. According to the preliminary figures announced by Derichebourg on Thursday, the business division generated revenues of €2.531 billion in the financial year 2010/11 ended 30 September. The company attributed the 27 per cent increase compared to the previous year's figure of €1.987 billion to higher prices for ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals as well as an increase in volumes handled by the group's non-ferrous scrap metals operations.
