German plant operator EEW Energy from Waste has laid the foundation stone for a €220m major project near Hamburg on 9 November. The company is building a replacement for its Stapelfeld waste to energy (wte) plant as well as a sewage sludge mono-incineration facility. The project is being supported with nearly €8m from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)....
