EEW lays foundation stone for major project in Stapelfeld

Ten men from EEW and other organisations involved in the project with hammers in their hands standing behind three concrete blocks with the inscriptions "KVA" (for the sewage sludge mono-incineration treatment plant), "MVA" (for the wte facility) and "2022".
With an investment volume of more than €220m, the new Stapelfeld facilities are one of the largest construction projects in EEW's history.

German plant operator EEW Energy from Waste has laid the foundation stone for a €220m major project near Hamburg on 9 November. The company is building a replacement for its Stapelfeld waste to energy (wte) plant as well as a sewage sludge mono-incineration facility.
