Spanish services and construction concern FCC has announced the start of construction works at its planned Drumgray Energy Recovery Centre (DERC) at Greengairs in North Lanarkshire in Scotland. The waste to energy (wte) plant is designed to treat up to 300,000 tonnes of residual household and business waste per year.
