Plant manufacturer Keppel Seghers GmbH has acquired the technical know-how from AE&E Inova GmbH's company division specialising in the construction of waste to energy plants. Through this transaction, Keppel Seghers aims to strengthen its position on the German and East European markets and to integrate the technologies and patents of AE&E Inova in its range of products.
Plant operators using technologies of AE&E Inova will benefit from this takeover, as services to their plants will continue uninterrupted even after the insolvency of AE&E, Stefan Kipp, CEO of Keppel Seghers GmbH, said. Moreover, the company plans to develop the acquired technologies further and to use them in new construction projects across the world.
