Waste management companies and traders from the UK and Continent have founded a new transnational lobby group. The RDF Export Industry Group is intended to communicate the merits of refuse derived fuel (RDF) to government and other key stakeholders, according to a press release put out by the British consultancy Eunomia Research & Consulting, which is acting as the new organisation's secretariat.
The list of founding members is full of names familiar in the sector. Its British members include major waste management companies Biffa, FCC Environment, Shanks and Veolia Environmental Services UK. Its RDF trading and processing members include Andusia Recovered Fuels, Seneca Environmental Solutions and Gemi UK
