No more speculation : Rethmann subsidiary acquires Duales System Deutschland

Early Thursday morning, Germany’s largest waste management company, Remondis, and the owners of Der Grüne Punkt (the Green Dot) finally pulled the trigger on their long-anticipated deal. A contract covering the sale of 100 per cent of the green dot company Duales System Deutschland Holding GmbH & Co. KG (DSD) has been signed, ending protracted negotiations and months of speculation. Rethmann's boards and DSD's stakeholders had agreed to the transaction last week. Remondis has confirmed the contract signing to EUWID....
