The Spanish subsidiary animal by-products recycler Saria Bio-Industries AG has reached an agreement with competitor Grup Garnova to joint their activities. The merger agreement was signed by representatives of Saria Bio-Industries Espana and Garnova.
The fusion is still subject to approval by national competition authorities, which Saria said both parties expected to obtain soon. The CEOs of two companies Valentin Garcia (Saira Spain) and Joan Vila (Garnova) were to jointly lead the merged entity, Saria ex-plained.
