A fire which initially broke out on Thursday in the main turbine hall of AVR's waste to energy plant in Rozenburg near Rotterdam has been extinguished. Firefighters had declared the fire under control late Thursday afternoon, but it had reignited that night, becoming a major blaze and producing heavy smoke. The fire was finally put out Saturday morning....
