Vattenfall and Renewi have signed a new partnership agreement under which the Swedish energy company is to purchase more than 7.5 million m3/year of "green gas" produced by the Dutch waste management company. The biomethane or renewable natural gas (RNG) will be made from food waste and fed into the gas network, according to statements issued by the companies on Tuesday. Renewi is expected to start supplying green gas in the spring of 2024....
