Despite an improvement in collection volumes, certain sectors recorded a slight price increase in the first half of March. Supermarket paper and board prices rose by €5/t because of strong demand, in particular, from eastern Germany and exports to the the Far East. Used corrugated kraft II prices also registered a further increase at the upper end of the price range, while mixed paper prices remained stable.
