An increase in supply on Italy‘s recovered paper market paved the way for a round of price cuts for ordinary grades in April, according to the latest EUWID market report. The improved availability is the result of the Europe-wide shortage of shipping containers, which led to a sharp dip in exports to Asia. While peak prices had occasionally been cut at the start of April, the lion’s share of the reductions took place as the month progressed.
