Italian recovered paper prices have reached new record highs in March. Mixed paper and old corrugated containers (OCC) recorded remarkable price increases compared to the previous month's levels.
Some market players noted that prices had already edged higher at the start of the month, but this upturn was again fuelled by the recovered paper auction staged by the packaging consortium Comieco on 3 March. Hefty export prices, which edged higher again at the start of March, also helped to send prices on the Italian market soaring, a few insiders told EUWID....
