The prices on the German steel scrap market declined slightly in July compared to the previous month, according to the latest EUWID market report. Exports volumes to Turkey remained low and thus could not relieve the pressure on market. In the meanwhile, first plant stoppages were reported and more are expected to follow during the summer months. All in all, the German steel scrap market witnessed a slight oversupply and stable steel scrap arising.
