Poland's Minister of Environment, Anna Moskwa, announced on Wednesday that her country had filed a complaint against Germany for illegally shipping over 35,000 tonnes of waste into Poland and failing to repatriate them. The complaint marked the first step in the proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ), she said at a press conference in Warsaw.

Ms Moskwa called for the immediate removal of the waste currently stored at seven locations in Poland, namely Tuplice, Stary Jawor, Sobolewo, Gliwice, Sarbia, Bzów, and Babina....
