London energy from waste (EfW) plant operator Cory has joined a new partnership with plans to transport waste heat by barge along the Thames in thermal batteries. Together with the heat battery manufacturer Sunamp and Sheen Parkside, an "arranger of innovative low-carbon infrastructure projects", Cory aims to supply heat – initially from its Riverside waste to energy (wte) plant – to major consumers, such as district heating networks.
