Andritz supplies pilot line for textile recycling to Finland

The Finnish company Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto (LSJH) has started up a new pilot line for textile recycling at its facility in Paimio in Southern Finland. According to the Austrian technology supplier Andritz, the newly installed Exel tearing machine for post-consumer textile waste can process up to 500 kg/h for spinning quality and up to 1 t/h for nonwoven fibre quality.
