Austrian plastics producer Borealis has upped its stake in the Belgian company Renasci to 50.01 per cent. Borealis says this move will increase its access to chemically recycled feedstock for its “Borcycle C” portfolio of "virgin-level" recycled products. The purchase price was not disclosed. Borealis first acquired a 10 per cent share in Renasci in summer 2021.
