DS Smith to install biomass boiler in Rouen


DS Smith plans to "transform" the energy supply at its Rouen paper mill in northern France and will spend almost €90m on the project. The company announced it would install a new biomass boiler to replace the mill’s coal-fired boiler, reducing the site’s CO₂ emissions by 99,000 tonnes per year (tpy).
