Itertam, a subsidiary of the French hazardous waste treatment specialist Europlasma, hopes to secure new customers for its asbestos waste treatment services in Algeria. According to an early September statement from Europlasma, Intertam signed a framework agreement with the the Algerian company SO.GE.B. Zrita under which they will cooperate to offer a turnkey solution for asbestos waste. For its part SO.GE.B. Zrita will provide asbestos removal and Intertam, will vitrify the waste using its plasma torch technology. The companies plan to bid together in a call for tenders issued by "a leading Algerian institution", Europlasma said....
