Veolia’s new "GreenUp" strategy aims for expansion of hazardous waste activities

In addition to presenting its financial figures last Thursday, environmental services group Veolia also revealed its new strategy for the period until 2027. Entitled "GreenUp," the strategy aims to accelerate growth in three business areas: treatment of hazardous waste, technologies for the water sector, and bioenergy, energy efficiency and flexibility.

Of the €4bn in total earmarked for growth investments in the 2024-2027 period, €2bn will be directed to these three "booster" activities, according to Veolia.

Veolia says that with its new strategy, it not only wants to continue its economic success but also contribute to achieving environmental objectives.
