Chemicals and plastics producer Ineos wants to further expand its mechanical recycling activities for polystyrene waste as well as chemical recycling. The company plans to significantly increase its production of recycled PS by 2024, an Ineos Styrolution spokesman told EUWID during the "K" plastics trade show which was held in Düsseldorf, Germany in mid-October. At the end of the month, the Ineos division Olefins & Polymers Europe announced it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the British company Plastic Energy....
