Intco to expand PET recycling capacity together with Erema

China-based global recycling company Intco is increasing its collaboration with Austrian recycling technology specialist Erema ahead of major investments in PET waste recycling intended for the next few years. The two companies signed a cooperation agreement during the K fair in Düsseldorf, Germany in October.

"We also want to become the leading supplier in this segment and increase our PET recycling capacity from the current level of around 150,000 tonnes a year to one million tonnes in the coming years,” explained Intco chief, Frank Liu. "To do this, we need an experienced and reliable technology partner, which we have with Erema at our side,” commented the founder and CEO of Intco Medical Technology and Shandong Intco Recycling Resources.
