British plastics recycler Jayplas is planning a new facility for both rigid and flexible plastic waste in Wales. The future recycling plant, with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year, is to be built in Swansea, the Welsh government announced together with Jayplas last Wednesday. According the joint statement, the facility will require an investment of around £45m (ca. €52m) and more than double Wales's plastic reprocessing capacity.
