Prezero abandons plans for new packaging sorting and plastics recycling plants in Germany

Waste management and recycling group Prezero has dropped plans to expand its sorting capacity for packaging waste in Germany.

Prezero has suspended plans to build a €120m sorting plant in Porta Westfalica in northwestern Germany. The Schwarz group's waste management arm has announced that it will not build the sorting plant for mixed lightweight packaging waste from households. The company told EUWID that it had also dropped its plans for the plastics recycling facility that was to be built in connection with the sorting plant....
