A change is coming at the helm of Prezero. Wolf Tiedemann will take over as CEO of the German waste management company on 1 October, Prezero's parent group Schwarz announced yesterday evening. Mr Tiedemann will succeed Thomas Kyriakis. The current Prezero CEO is leaving the group "by mutual agreement due to differing views on its strategic direction", explained the Schwarz group.

His successor, Mr Tiedemann, is still the director of Sales, Logistics and Central Services at sister company Lidl International. Prior to his current role, he was head of Central Services at Lidl Germany, responsible for the development of the logistics strategy at Schwarz Dienstleistung and, as division board member at Lidl International, responsible for real estate and logistics.

The change in Prezero's management is part of a larger reshuffle within the Schwarz group. Beginning in October, Christian Groh will serve as CEO of Schwarz Dienstleistung. He is moving to the parent group from Lidl International and succeeds Carsten Theurer, who is also leaving the company by mutual agreement due to differing views on strategy.

With the appointments of Christian Groh and Wolf Tiedemann, the Schwarz Group said it was "optimally" positioned for the future.
