French environmental group Suez has acquired the British waste management and recycling firm F&R Cawley Ltd. in December, thereby entering the UK market for the collection and recycling of lithium-ion batteries (LIB) from electric vehicles. Suez did not provide any information about the purchase price in its announcement of the transaction.
