French environmental group Veolia has closed the past year with record results after a strong fourth quarter. "In an exceptional year for Veolia, marked by the acquisition of Suez, I am particularly proud of the performance we have achieved, both in terms of activity and results", said CEO Estelle Brachlianoff at the presentation of the annual results in Paris. All indicators had reached record levels. "We are starting the 2023 financial year in very good conditions, perfectly launched for another year of strong growth.” The company generated annual revenue of €42.9bn, with its global waste management operations contributing €15.8bn to the total....
