LME price rally leads to stronger copper scrap prices in Germany

So far, the LME price for copper again exceeded the $9000 mark.

Copper prices continue to soar. The LME copper price jumped again at the beginning of April and crossed the $9,000/t mark again for the first time in a year. The rising exchange prices boosted scrap metal prices in Germany as well.

According to news service MBI, the wholesale buying-in price for copper scrap rose by in the days after Easter.
