Non-ferrous prices in Germany rising in response to signal from LME

The copper price is on the rise again. Following the slump in the first half of the month, the LME three-month price increased significantly again last week, climbing by around $400 per tonne. The rise in the exchange price also led to higher prices on the German non-ferrous scrap metal market.

According to news service MBI, the wholesale buying-in price for copper scrap in Germany rose as did the price of brass scrap.
