EP Environment committee submits over 500 amendments to WFD revision proposal

Members of the European Parliament's Environment Committee are working on the EU Commission's proposal for a targeted revision of the Waste Framework Directive (WFD). After Polish rapporteur Anna Zalewska published her draft report with an initial set of 139 amendments in mid-October, the Committee members held a debate on the legislative project and submitted numerous additional amendments prior to the 26 October deadline.
