Dutch alternative fuels specialist N+P Group is growing again, having finalised a purchase agreement for the assets of Niramax Group Limited Hartlepool. The acquisition of the family-owned waste sorting and processing facility with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year was part of N+P's strategy to expand production capacity in the alternative fuels business to at least 15 sites by 2028, the Dutch company explained. The acquisition is to strengthen its presence in the Northeast of the UK. Hartlepool is located around 50 km southeast of Newcastle.
N+P also highlighted the synergies it hopes to achieve with its existing solid recovered fuel (SRF) facility in near-by Teesside where it produces "Subcoal"-brand fuel pellets....
