The business picture for chemical recycling company Quantafuel remains mixed, according to the company's financial report for the second quarter of 2023. The plastics to liquids (PtL) company's first commercial-scale advanced recycling facility at Skive, Denmark is not yet generating positive cash flow from operations despite continued improvement in its output. Feedstock costs were still high and adversely impacting profitability at the plant, Quantafuel reported.
On a more positive note, construction was progressing to plan at the future "ReSource" plastic sorting plant in Esbjerg, Denmark....
