Veolia reports stronger-than-expected growth and earnings for the 2023 financial year

The French environmental services provider Veolia ended the 2023 financial year with earnings above guidance and anticipates additional significant growth in 2024. In late February, the group, which is active in water, waste management and energy, reported a 6 per cent improvement in revenues to €45.35bn, driven by "solid growth" in  its three businesses.

"These excellent results are the fruit of our unique positioning in the buoyant ecological transformation market, as well as of our ongoing efforts to maintain strict operational control. Demand for our services has never been so high," Estelle Brachlianoff, the company’s CEO, remarked at the presentation of Veolia’s results....
