A combined heat and power (CHP) plant that combusts refuse-derived fuel (RDF) is slated to start up this year in Krosno, Poland. The City of Krosno announced that the drum, the most important element of the steam boiler, is currently being installed. The plant is expected to produce electricity and heat from approximately 22,000 tonnes of solid RDF a year. It will have a thermal output of 6.4 MW and an electricity output of 1.6 MW....
